Hill County Commissioners Meeting – 2/7/2025

(Hill County) The Hill County Board of Commissioners met on Thursday, February 6th for their weekly business meeting.

The board first acknowledged all the times there were two or more of them conducting business in the last week outside of public meetings.

The board also agreed on an extension of the Milk River Levee agreement due to delays in progress from the Army Corps.

The county is also seeking public comment on the abandonment of a county road, 3rd Avenue in Jensen First Addition in Kremlin.

Commissioners announced that they will receive bids for one or more new, diesel powered road graders to be used for the Hill County Road department. Bids will begin being accepted at 10am on March 4th.

Commissioner Bill Lanier also announced that the Hill County website has been updated, and that there is now a jobs tab at the top ribbon to allow easier access to view open county positions.
