(Glagow) – Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks continue their popular program that allows kids and families to check out free fishing rods and tackle.
The Kids to Fish program is available across Montana’s Hi-line at over 41 different locations and has over 350 maintained fishing rods. There are around 8 rods at each location capable for rent and are equipped with basic tackle.
Locations available to rent include Stromberg’s Sinclair, Hill County Library, and the FWP office in Havre, Finley’s Food Farm in Chinook, Fort Peck Marina, Lakeridge Motel and Tackle Shop, and Rock Creek Marina in Fort Peck and several other locations.
