Havre, MT – The MSU Northern Lights football team will take to the road for the last time of their 2026 season tomorrow at they will head to Valley City State University to battle with the Vikings.
The Lights are coming off one of their best offensive performances last week, but after going just 5/14 on third downs, one area of emphasis offensively that offensive coordinator of the Lights Coach K wants to see is better production on first and second downs.
“We have to do a good job first of all on first and second down so that we don’t get into those third down situations in the first place. But when we do, we have to do a better job at executing and that comes down to me and getting these guys ready to execute in that situation.”
As the MSU Northern season comes to an end they’re still in search for that first victory feeling.
You can catch live coverage of the Lights and Valley City State tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. on your home of all MSUN Athletics KPQX.
