Havre, MT – The MSU-Northern Lights football team returns home tomorrow to host the Dickinson State University Blue Hawks at 1 p.m.
This will be the second meeting between the Lights and Blue Hawks this season. In their first matchup, the Lights traveled to North Dakota and fell 44-13. The Blue Hawks’ defense forced five interceptions from the Lights’ starting quarterback, Malaki Statler, helping secure the victory.
This time, the Lights will have home-field advantage as they welcome the Blue Hawks to Tilleman Field. Freshman quarterback and Havre High School graduate Griffin Terry will get the start this week.
MSU-Northern will look to earn its first win of the season as its opportunities to do so continue to dwindle. The Lights have just a couple of games remaining after this matchup, including a road game at Valley City State next weekend before returning home in the final week of the season to host Dakota State University.
You can catch live coverage of tomorrow afternoon’s Lights football game on your home for all MSU-Northern athletics, KPQX.
