Jodi Koterba, Education Director of the Montana Farmers Union has been working to draft up lesson plans for teachers interested in giving their students more opportunities to learn farming education. She recently sat down with New Media Broadcasters to talk about what the lessons entail.
“For the last two years we have held a camp for teachers up at our location just outside of the highwind mountains. And we’ve provided a minimum of 25 lessons with all the materials to do those lessons in your classroom. So it’s a very hands-on participation, we go through every lesson, so you leave there knowing exactly how to use them in your classroom.”
