HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Department of Corrections has announced that the production of license plates at the Montana State Prison has resumed after a shipment of aluminum recently arrived.
The license plate shop at the prison now has supplies to continue production through February.
Around 1,200 people have recently received temporary plates due to the aluminum shortage. They should expect to get permanent plates by April.
