MSU To Open New Athletics Facility

Havre, MT – As fall sports starting to get underway Montana State University and Bobcat Athletics is to officially open new training facility.

The facility is to be named after two former Bobcat track and field coaches, Dale Kennedy and Rob Stark as the Kennedy-Start Athletic Center. The building hosts a 100-yard turf field with a six-lane track. The center holds practice areas for track and field jumping and throwing events.

The new facility will provide practices areas to bobcat athletics away from the elements during the harsh winter months.

MSU is hosting their grand opening event for the facility on August 18 at 4p.m. inside the building. There will be a short program with a ribbon cutting and open house. The event is free and the public is invited.
