HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – A donation shortfall over the winter holidays is prompting the American Red Cross to issue an emergency call for blood donors to give now to prevent a blood shortage from continuing throughout winter and affecting patient care.
A press release says that upcoming blood donation opportunities will take place at the Geraldine High School on Monday, January 28th from 1:30 to 6:30 PM.
There will be two blood donation opportunities in Lewistown in early February. On Monday, February 4th, they will be at the First Christian Church of Lewistown from noon to 6 PM, and on Tuesday the 5th from 9 AM to 2:30 PM at the Central Montana Medical Center.
On Thursday, February 7th, you can donate blood at the Winifred Community Center from 2 to 6 PM.
