HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – This holiday season, The Salvation Army is looking for people to help provide presents for families with their Adopt-A-Family program.
Trina Crawford, Director of the Havre Service Extension of The Salvation Army, says Adopt-A-Family is a fulfilling way for people to give to an entire family.
“It is very well received. People love to adopt a family, they donate and wrap the presents for the family. The adoptees and the adopters never meet, but they find out information about their sizes, their gift wishes, and that kind of thing.”
This year, the Havre Service Center is hoping to “adopt” 30 families. To sign up to Adopt-A-Family, call the Salvation Army at 265-6411 extension 102 or send an email to Trina.Crawford@usw.salvationarmy.org.
