(Havre) – On Monday, The City of Havre along with Montana Rural Water Systems started Sanitary Sewer Smoke Testing in the area around Sunnyside School. Public Works Director Trevor Mork tells us how it went and what they were looking for.
“Understanding what to look for, making sure the sanitary sewer system lines were indicating the smoke the way they should. There was a few property owners that did report to the 911 dispatch on having smoke in their basement. The fire department responded promptly to those calls and explained what was going on with our sanitary sewer smoke test.”
