HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Shortly before 11 AM Wednesday, the Havre Fire Department received a call about a garage engulfed in flames just west of Havre.
Havre Fire Chief Mel Paulson says that the garage was fully engulfed when they arrived, but the fifteen members who were on the scene were able to get the fire under control within 10 minutes. Firefighters were on the scene for four or five hours before the blaze was fully extinguished.
Paulson says that there were no injuries, but the structure was a total loss. The cause of the fire is undetermined and the Fire Department is investigating.
