HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Western Native Voice (WNV) and We Are Montana have partnered up and announced Monday, May 26 they have established a COVID-19 relief fund for Native communities.
The Western Native Voice COVID-19 Relief Fund assists Native leaders in providing needed resources to protect and support their communities.
WNV Executive Director Marci McLean said, “…Donations to this fund allow us to purchase and immediately distribute critical supplies – from protective equipment to food and necessities – to our communities…”
Communities in need are asked to fill out an assessment form online at westernnativevoice.org.
All responses to this form will determine eligibility and what type of assistance is needed.
WNV is a non-profit organization that advocates and assists both rural and urban Native communities in Montana.
