The Montana 250th Commission recently announced the recipients of its Event Sponsorship Program, awarding $100,000 to 40 organizations across Montana to support community celebrations recognizing America’s 250th anniversary this year.
The sponsorships will fund events, activities, and programs that honor the Semi-quincentennial while engaging communities throughout the state. Combined with the previously announced Montana 250 Grant Program, the Commission has now distributed a total of $520,000 to 73 organizations statewide, ensuring Montanans from all corners of the state can meaningfully celebrate the nation’s historic milestone.
Event Sponsorship awardees in our area include: The Blaine County Fair, The Town of Denton, The Fergus County Fairgrounds, and The Judith Mountain Players from Lewistown.
